Accredited certification

Within our EGAC accreditation

Six standards, issued by CAS under EGAC accreditation CAB 012418. Five of them (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 22000, 50001) are also within EGAC's IAF MLA scope.

EGAC-accredited · IAF MLA
Issued by CAS under our EGAC accreditation (CAB 012418) and recognised worldwide through the IAF Multilateral Recognition Arrangement. These certificates carry the EGAC and IAF marks.
EGAC accredited
Issued by CAS under our EGAC accreditation (CAB 012418). These certificates carry the EGAC mark.

By CAS — issued under CAS's own authority

34 schemes

Issued by CAS under its own competence and integrity for schemes not yet within an accreditation arrangement. Clearly marked “By CAS” and never carrying the EGAC or IAF marks, so accredited and non-accredited certifications stay distinguishable.

Exclusive partner certification-body service

2 schemes

Delivered through a specialist partner certification body with which CAS holds an exclusive arrangement (e.g. Halal via GHC, Kosher via KCJ). The partner is the issuing body; CAS is your single point of contact.

Outsourcing service — delivered through a partner body

7 schemes

Coordinated by CAS and delivered through a partner body for schemes we don't hold directly (e.g. SEDEX/SMETA, WRAP, GLOBALG.A.P., FSSC 22000). You deal with CAS; the outcome — a certificate, an audit report, a registration or an assessment — comes from the partner body or the scheme owner, not from CAS.

How our services work

How many certification schemes does CAS offer?+
More than 40 — spanning ISO management-system standards, food-safety and GFSI schemes, social-compliance audits, halal and kosher certification, and product/inspection services.
What's the difference between an EGAC-accredited and a “By CAS” certificate?+
For EGAC-accredited standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 22000, 50001, 22301), the certificate CAS issues carries the EGAC mark — and, for the five IAF-MLA scopes, the IAF mark too — because CAS issues it under its EGAC accreditation. “By CAS” certificates are issued under CAS's own authority for schemes not yet within an accreditation arrangement and carry the CAS mark only. Either way the certified organisation displays the CAS certification mark; the EGAC and IAF marks are CAS's accreditation marks and are not used by clients.
Which schemes are EGAC-accredited with IAF MLA recognition?+
ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment), ISO 45001 (occupational health & safety), ISO 22000 (food safety) and ISO 50001 (energy). ISO 22301 (business continuity) is EGAC-accredited.
What is an “outsourcing service”?+
A scheme CAS does not hold directly — coordinated by CAS and delivered through a partner body (for example SEDEX/SMETA, WRAP, GLOBALG.A.P. and FSSC 22000). You deal with CAS; the outcome — a certificate, an audit report, a registration or an assessment — comes from the partner body or the scheme owner, not from CAS.
What is an “exclusive partner CB service”?+
A service delivered through a specialist partner certification body with which CAS holds an exclusive arrangement — Halal (via GHC) and Kosher (via KCJ). The partner is the issuing body; CAS is your single point of contact.
Can CAS certify a scheme that isn't listed?+
Very likely — directly or through our partner network. Contact us with the standard and we'll confirm and quote.
