🇮🇹 Certification in Italy
ISO and scheme certification in Italy
Because EGAC is a signatory of the IAF Multilateral Recognition Arrangement (MLA), CAS certificates accredited for ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 22000 and 50001 are recognised by IAF MLA signatory accreditation bodies in more than 100 economies; ISO 22301 is EGAC-accredited but outside EGAC's IAF MLA scope.
Accreditation behind your certificate
EGAC schedule 012418B lists Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Jordan, Italy and the United Arab Emirates.
A CAS certificate accredited for ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 22000 or 50001 falls within EGAC's IAF MLA scope and is therefore recognised as equivalent by accreditation bodies in 100+ economies. ISO 22301 is within CAS's EGAC accreditation but outside EGAC's IAF MLA scope, so it carries the EGAC accreditation mark without the IAF MLA mark.

How certification works
- 1
Apply
Submit your scope online — organisation, sites, headcount and the standards you need. No fee to apply.
- 2
Proposal & agreement
CAS returns a costed scheme of work — audit days, timeline and terms — typically within two business days.
- 3
Stage 1 & 2 audit
Impartial, competent auditors assess your system under ISO/IEC 17021-1 and the scheme's technical part.
- 4
Independent decision
A decision-maker who took no part in the audit reviews the file before any certificate is issued.
- 5
Certificate & surveillance
Certificate, EOS letter and certification mark issued — listed on IAF CertSearch where accredited.
