ISO 22716:2007 — Cosmetics GMP
Good Manufacturing Practices for cosmetic products — covering production, control, storage, and shipment of cosmetics with internationally recognised guidance for the cosmetics industry.
This certificate is issued by CAS without third-party accreditation for this scheme. It is not within the scope of EGAC Schedule 012418B and is not recognised under the IAF MLA. Per IAF MD 23:2023, CAS clearly differentiates accredited and non-accredited services on every page.
ISO 22716:2007 provides guidelines for the production, control, storage, and shipment of cosmetic products. It addresses GMP aspects specific to the cosmetics industry and is harmonised with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009, which mandates GMP compliance for all cosmetics sold in the EU.
