ISO 14001:2015 — Environmental Management
CAS currently certifies to ISO 14001:2015. ISO 14001:2026 (4th Edition) has been published by ISO — CAS will announce its accreditation transition timeline with EGAC. All existing certificates remain valid.
ISO 14001:2026 is the fourth edition of the international Environmental Management System standard, published 15 April 2026 by ISO/TC 207 SC 1. It cancels and replaces ISO 14001:2015 and its Amendment 1:2024 (climate change). The new edition incorporates the latest ISO Harmonized Structure requirements and provides further clarification on key topics including environmental aspects, compliance obligations, life cycle perspective, and continual improvement. Note: CAS continues to issue EGAC-accredited certificates against ISO 14001:2015 until EGAC re-issues Schedule 012418B for the 2026 edition; the IAF transition deadline is May 2029.
All organisations — regardless of size, type, or sector — that wish to enhance environmental performance, meet compliance obligations, and demonstrate commitment to environmental responsibility. Particularly relevant for manufacturing, construction, mining, chemicals, transport, energy, and any supply chain requiring environmental credentials.
