ISO 21001:2025 is the second edition of the international standard specifying requirements for a management system for educational organisations (EOMS), published July 2025 by Technical Committee ISO/TC 232 (Education and learning services). It cancels and replaces ISO 21001:2018. The main change is that assessment-related text has been revised to reflect current best practices in educational assessment. The standard applies management system principles to the education sector, addressing the needs of learners, other beneficiaries, and all interested parties.
