CAS Conformity Assessment Services LLC ("CAS", "we", "our", "us") is an EGAC-accredited management system certification body (CAB #012418 B) headquartered at 75 Saad Zalam Street, Nile Corniche, Old Cairo, Cairo, Egypt. Contact: info@cas.com.eg
2. Data We Collect
We collect personal data that you provide directly to us including: name, job title, organisation name, email address, phone number, postal address, and details of your certification application. We also collect data automatically when you use our website (IP address, browser type, pages visited).
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to: process certification applications and manage your certification contract; respond to enquiries; send formal certification documents and correspondence; comply with accreditation requirements (EGAC/IAF); and maintain records as required by ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 §9.9.
4. Legal Basis
We process your personal data on the following bases: (a) performance of a contract (certification agreement); (b) legal obligation (accreditation requirements); (c) our legitimate interests in operating a certification body; (d) your consent where applicable.
5. Data Sharing
We may share your data with: EGAC (our accreditation body) as required for accreditation oversight; IAF CertSearch (public certificate register); our Halal partner GHCO and Kosher partner KCJ for specialty certification purposes; and government authorities where legally required. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Data Retention
Per ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 §9.9.4, records of certified clients and previously certified clients are retained for the duration of the current certification cycle plus one full certification cycle (minimum 6 years). Contact and enquiry data is retained for 3 years.
7. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; object to processing; and lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority. Contact us at info@cas.com.eg to exercise your rights.
