VVB Certification Process

Based on ISO/IEC 17024:2012 and IPC_PL_22_04 requirements.

1. Application

Submit your application with evidence of relevant education, technical expertise, and experience in GHG accounting or auditing.

2. Training & Competency Review

Provide proof of training covering ISO 14064 series, ISO 14067, and ISO 14065/14066. We verify your experience.

3. Examination

Pass a proctored exam covering GHG accounting principles (ISO 14064-1, ISO 14067) and validation/verification techniques.

4. Practical Assessment (Witnessed Audit)

Conduct a mock or real GHG verification/validation engagement under the observation of qualified CAS assessors.

5. Certification Decision

The certification committee reviews all evidence. Upon success, the certificate is issued (valid for 3 years).

6. Recertification & CPD

Maintain certification through ongoing Continuing Professional Development and re-assessment every 3 years.
