The following guidelines are provided under the Use of Certification Mark Agreement to ensure the proper and authorized use of the CAS Certification Mark.

The CAS Certification Mark is a symbol that indicates that CAS has verified the quality, safety, or compliance of an organization’s management systems against specific standards. This mark is crucial for demonstrating an organization’s ongoing commitment to maintaining high standards.

The CAS Certification Mark provides numerous benefits:

Terms and Conditions of Use
Grant of License
- CAS grants the client a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the CAS Certification Mark in accordance with the terms outlined in the agreement.
Restricted Use
- The CAS Certification Mark must not be used on products or their packaging. It is intended solely to represent the certification status of the organization’s management systems, not product endorsement.
Quality Control and Compliance
- Clients are required to maintain compliance with the certification standards and permit periodic audits by CAS to verify continued compliance.
Misuse and Consequences
- Misuse of the Mark: Any inappropriate use or misrepresentation of the CAS Certification Mark will lead to suspension of the certification.
- Investigation and Restoration: The certificate remains suspended until an investigation is completed and compliance is restored.
Indemnification
- Clients agree to indemnify CAS from any claims arising from the improper use of the CAS Certification Mark.
Legal Governance
- This Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CAS operates and can only be modified in writing by mutual agreement.
Acknowledgment and Agreement
Both parties, CAS and the client, by signing this agreement, commit to adhere to all the terms and conditions specified for the use of the CAS Certification Mark.
