Our SMETA 7.0 Audit Process
A comprehensive and transparent process from planning to follow-up.
1. Application & Planning
Submit your audit request, define the scope (2-Pillar or 4-Pillar), and agree on timelines.
2. Pre-Audit Preparation
The site completes the Sedex Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) while our auditors prepare for the assessment.
3. On-Site Audit
A thorough evaluation including a site tour, document review, and confidential worker interviews.
4. Audit Reporting
A detailed SMETA report is generated with findings and uploaded to the Sedex platform for sharing.
5. Post-Audit Follow-up
The site implements a Corrective Action Plan (CAPR), with progress tracked via the Sedex platform.
